Robert Nesta "Bob" Marley, OM was a Jamaican singer-songwriter who became an international musical and cultural icon, blending mostly reggae, ska and rocksteady in his compositions.

The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960. With members  Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, John Lennon and  George Harrison  they became widely regarded as the foremost and most influential act of the rock era.

Mohammed Rafi was an Indian playback singer and one of the most popular and successful singers of the Hindi f ilm industry. I had the privilege of singing one of his duet songs with Asha Bhonsle Ji,"Ghungharwa Mora Chham Chham Baje",from the film Zindagi;Music-Shankar Jaikishan;Lyrics Hasrat Jaipuri,at Mohammed Rafi Sangeet Samaroh held in Talkatora Stadium in the year 1996.The opening song 'Meri Awaz Suno' was sung by 'Akriti Kakkar',then a little girl.Today's renowned singer 'Harshdeep Kaur' had also auditioned for the event that year. It was only a week of my joining Lady Shree Ram College first year when I was selected and used to go for event practice with Ma and my Music teacher Gunjan Sir.It was my first and only ever performance in front of such large audience filling up the stadium.It was a memorable day with my whole family and cousins present for the event,applauding and encouraging me.It felt great!!!
